ATTENTION LANCERS: We are Boosting our School Spirit by bringing back the PEP Club and The Hooligans. These two clubs have been very successful in the past at raising school spirit both on campus and at various events. The combination of the two clubs brings the unique ability for all students to get involved no matter how mild or crazy (within limits) your school spirit can get. Members of the PEP Club and Hooligans will be involved in Pep Assemblies and Sporting Events. Members of this club will be responsible for improving school spirit through various activities. One distinct advantage of becoming a member of the PEP Club and the Hooligans is free admission to all sporting events we attend. Pay attention for more information to follow. (Salts)
ATTENTION LANCERS: Are you interested in the environment and conservation? Come join the Ecology club WEDNESDAY, August 5th in Room 1401. Bring your lunch! (McSwain)
FACULTY
PLC TIDBIT OF THE DAY: Attention to results can serve many purposes: identifying students who need additional time and support in order to become proficient in an essential skill, helping teams mark progress toward their goals, providing individual teachers with timely feedback on the effectiveness of their strategies, and providing a basis of celebration for small ins. But we strongly advise against using results to assess individual teachers. There is no benefit—but rather there is considerable detriment—to the school when they are used for that purpose. (Radford)
