FACULTY
PLC TIDBIT OF THE DAY: If teachers are to work collaboratively to clarify the essential learning for their courses and grade levels, write common assessments, and jointly analyze the results, they must overcome the fear that they may be exposed to their colleagues and principals as ineffective. (Radford)
STAFF: Please continue to encourage students to follow sanitary measures to reduce the spread of influenza. Remind them to cover their nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing (or coughing or sneezing into their sleeve if a tissue isn’t available). Also, advise frequent hand washing with soap and water or using hand sanitizer if hand washing with soap and water isn’t possible. (Mathney)
FACULTY: Please note that our Open House will be today, Tuesday, August 11 at 6:00pm. This will be a regular school day schedule. The minimum day that normally follows an Open House will still be in the middle of October, on the date of PSAT testing. The testing date this year is Wednesday, October 14, which is listed as a minimum day on the HTH Calendar. Please let me know if you have any questions. (Kracha)
