FACULTY
PLC TIDBIT OPF THE DAY: The results of standardized tests can provide a broad picture of how groups of students are performing compared to other districts, or within the student population and how disaggregated subgroups of students are doing relative to other subgroups. They can also be used to analyze patterns, generate hypotheses, and create strategic plans. Standardized tests provide feedback on a district’s curriculum; results can point out areas of weakness, which can then be improved. (Radford)
