LIBRARY UPDATE: Students please make arrangements to take home ALL textbooks and library books over the holiday. DO NOT leave books and personal items in you locker; remember you are financially responsible for any damage to your books for books stolen from your locker. Students we cannot take in books from year long classes unless you have a note from the teacher stating that you are dropping the course second semester. Thank you for your cooperation. (Ms. R.)
PRINCIPAL’S ROUND TABLE MEMBERS: This month December’s Principal’s Round Table meeting has been cancelled due to final exams. Our next meeting will be held next month, January 26, 2010. (O’Campo)
SDSU & CSU BOUND SENIORS: A special test date for the ELM & EPT, has been arranged for all Sweetwater District students, free of charge for the firs 400 to register. The test will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 8:30 am at SDSU. Sign up on-line at www.sa.sdsu.edu/testofc.regpage.html by Friday, January 15, 2010. COLLEGE BOUND SENIORS: Cal State East Bay will continue to accept applications for Fall 2010 enrollment until December 18, 2009. Students interested in applying for admission can review Cal State East Bay’s admission requirements at www.csueastbay.edu/admissions. Applications may be submitted online at www.csumentor.edu. HILLTOP HIGH’S 38TH ANNUAL HUMANITIES AUCTION: will be held this year on December 17th at lunch in the gym, and all proceeds will be going to Rady Children’s Hospital. Raffle tickets are being sold during the video bulletin at the end of second period for just $1 each and those who enter will have a chance at winning either an Ipod Touch, Xbox 360, Acer Laptop, digital camera, or Beatles Rock band video game set.
